If I received a dollar for every time I'd hear this I would be a millionaire.
Just like you, I disliked the way I looked and felt. I was young, had a full time job as an Accountant and hated it. I would sit on my ass all day and talk to my computer.
The only thing that kept me going was knowing that I would hit the gym at the end of the day to release all that unwanted negative energy.
I went from being an Accountant to a Teacher to a Body Transformation Specialist. That's the story of my life in a nutshell!
Soon enough, I took up running to change my body shape. I would hit the pavement running about 4-5 times a week for at least 1 hour. As the days turned into weeks, weeks into months and months into years, I became so efficient that running 21km was a walk in the park for me.
My body had changed. As I saw changes, I wanted more! I became so efficient at running that my body hit a plateau and the changes stopped. I tried everything. I trained more. I ate less. Nothing seemed to really work. I was getting tired and injured. I even looked soft and sick!
Being a Body Transformation Specialist enabled me to have access to the latest cutting edge information that has been scientifically researched and I used this to my advantage. This also made me realise that training for fitness and being fit did not guarantee me a transformation that could be sustainable for a lifetime.
To ensure I achieved the body of my dreams, I had to change my ways. I had done so much damage to my metabolism over the past few years because of all the diets I tried and the overtraining I did.
I realised that I needed to do a few things to transform my body:
a. Construct the right metabolism for success.
b. Introduce FIRE ( Focused Intense Resistance Exercise) sessions into my training. This was the only way to change my body shape.
c. Stop over training.
d. Not to fear food and eat!
I am honestly happy to say that I am in the best condition that I have ever been in! I am healthy, strong and most importantly happy.
My daily routine now consists of the following:
a. I train 4 times per week. I do 3 x FIRE sessions (Focused Intense Resistance Exercise) and 2 x ICE (Intense Cardio Exercise). A total of only 5 hours a week.
b. I am no longer afraid to fuel my body. I eat 6 meals a day. I am not on any diet. I don't cut out anything. I eat carbs too!
c. I have transformed my body and actually feel really good about myself when I put my favourite pair of Gstars on.
For anyone that has crossed paths with me will tell you they have seen me either: tubby (overweight, unhealthy, lack of energy and low self esteem), skinny (my body did change but I was soft, tired & grumpy, prone to colds and flues) and now I have the body I have always wanted and a body that I can be proud of!
Anyone can take charge of the way they look and feel. I urge you to do something about it if you are unhappy.
