I had always been an active person, participating in many sports over the years particularly AFL and athletics. I was always very fit, ate healthy food and I had a thin body type.
After giving up competitive sports, I trained in the gym with Strengthening/Conditioning programs. I trained four times a week. My sessions would be an hour and a half long and I did this for about two years.
As you can see in the before picture, my results were limited. I felt stronger than when I initially started training in the gym. I wanted that strong muscular physique I could see in many athletes. To achieve this I needed to build more muscle and carry less body fat.
After completing one Metabolic Precision 12 week reprogram I now know that muscle mass matters.
During the program, I learnt a lot about nutrition and training. I learnt how to eat the right type of foods at the right time to fuel my training and recover from it. I learnt FIRE was the best form of training to undertake in order to build muscle and burn fat.
After making some changes to my eating habits and performing three 45 minute weights programs a week (yes, less than before!), I started to notice a difference within a few weeks. Seeing noticeable results so quickly made completing the 12 weeks easy and the results are visible in the before and after photos. I am now proud of my physique, and look forward to each meal and every gym session.
