Prior to starting my MP journey, I did my best to run myself down. I over trained and under ate.
Nutrition didn't even enter my thoughts. I just thought if I smashed my training and ate next to nothing I would get what I wanted. A lean body with muscle definition! I did get lean. I had some muscle definition but I was always sore, grumpy and I often felt weak and dizzy.
MP has completely changed all of this around. I eat 6 healthy nutritious meals every day.
I am disciplined and organised with my food preparation and my diet. I have totally embraced and loved the resistance training program known as FIRE. I feel so strong. I am lifting weights with good technique and surprising myself with how heavy I am able to lift. I have so much energy for my ICE sessions. I am able to push with every exercise which often results in me pouring with sweat.
My skin is healthier. I feel lighter. My muscle tone and definition has improved. I look in the mirror and feel happy. I have more energy to work in my job as a Gymnastics coach and for day to day duties.
The biggest and most important gain for me has been the change in the way I think and feel. I want to eat. I want to be healthy. I want to be the best that I can be. I am the happiest I have ever been in terms of my training. I love training. I always have. But the difference is now I have a systemised approach that works and gets me results while making me healthier and stronger.
Everything has now fallen into place. Training, nutrition and recovery all working together. I want to thank Juan Toro and Susan Naser for their constant motivation, encouragement and support. They lead by example and are the best role models I could ask for. They both inspire and motivate me to be better.
To anybody thinking of taking on the mp lifestyle I say go for it. It's not a quick fix, it's a healthy lifestyle change! Have faith in your trainers to guide you and be coachable to your trainers. Have faith in the M[ program and enjoy a healthier, stronger and happier you!
